Whistleblowers have been at the forefront of media over the past few years, but truth is they’ve been around for way longer than you could imagine! So let’s find out! Your assignment is as follows: Find a whistleblower from any country, tell us about the circumstances with the details we need to understand, in case we do not know who they are/what they did. Do enough research, gather enough sources. Watch/read/listen to the person or about the person. You determine the amount of sources. Do not get bogged down in a summary or details we do not need. Don’t make your blog all summary! Never do that. Some things to do: Would you do the same? Why or why not. Use the previous two blogs – Ellsberg & Wigand — compare/contrast the three whistleblowers. Use the skills you’ve obtained over the past few months. Really try to put your best work in as this one leads to the final blog, which I read. Consider your previous blogs other than Ellsberg and Wigand. Maybe connect them here. Note: MOST will flock to Edward Snowden but consider someone else…. there are plenty! Word Count – 1,000-1,500 words Bonus – Well-written posts will be given extra points.
