The self-awareness critique must address the following: Discussion of how your personal values, ethics, life experiences, etc. have shaped your personal view of family and relationship violence prior to this course (5 points). Critical analysis of how course materials have altered your personal views as it relates to your social work practice in terms of your values and ethics (6 points). Discuss how you will be continually self-aware and provide examples of how you will address systemic issues of interpersonal violence in your social work practice and how you intend to address the public health crisis of interpersonal violence in your personal and/or professional roles (5 points). Discuss how you will practice self-care in your social work practice to avoid burnout (5 points). APA 7th edition formatting, which includes a cover page, correct citations and references, spacing, and critical review for typological errors prior to submission (4 points). As the self-awareness critique is your personal narrative, citations and references are not mandatory; however, they are encouraged. Self-awareness Critiques should be between four and six pages, excluding the cover and reference pages.
