The poster project allows you to take a creative approach to highlight some of the most important ideas (in your opinion) that we have discussed in class this semester. Your task is to communicate useful ideas about children and their development in a format that would be useful as a reference to caregivers you know. The format will be based on what is made for “poster presentations” at academic conferences. Please refer to http://guides.nyu.edu/posters for a good overview of poster formats. Some examples can also be seen here. The poster should not be a 1-page write-up, but should include pictures, images, graphs, figures as well as text you imagine useful in communicating to your audience (caregivers). The poster should be 1 page and can be made in a word processing program and uploaded into Canvas. If you want to create a real poster, you can do so, and upload a high quality photo or photos to Canvas. Click here to turn in assignment. Tips: Use a small font (I can enlarge it to read it) Use diagrams, graphs, or illustrations Text should accompany your diagrams, graphs, or illustrations. Make the poster interesting to look at and full of useful information on the topic you choose. Use of data/research is highly valued additional websites for reference: https://ugs.utexas.edu/our/poster/samples https://undergradresearch.wustl.edu/symposium/making-poster/samples-posters Here's an example (in the uploaded files)
