Provide a brief (2-3 sentences) overview of the study. Second, identify two key study variables. Describe the operational definitions of each variable and evaluate the quality and clarity of these definitions. Could they be improved, and if so, how? Third, describe what level of measurement (nominal, ordinal, interval, or ratio) the authors used for the two variables you identified. Discuss whether each variable could have been measured using another level of measurement, and what the implications of a different level of measurement might be. For example, would a different level of measurement provide more/less information about the variable or allow greater/fewer options for data analysis?
