Instructions
1. Watch the first 20 minutes of the A Class Divided video.
2. Use a separate paragraph for each question and number your responses.
Refer to the readings for the definitions of prejudice and discrimination. Define and compare the two terms.
Give one example of prejudice found in the video.
Give one example of discrimination found in the video.
Refer to the readings for the definitions of personal and social barriers. Define and compare the two terms.
Give one example of a personal barrier faced by the students in the video.
Give one example of a social barrier faced by the students in the video.
What other dimensions of diversity could be part of the experiment if it were done today? Why did you choose this dimension?
3. Use a creative title for the heading of your assignment. Type it at the top of your work.
4. Length of your assignment should be a minimum of 200 words.
5. Cite your sources in APA style. At a minimum, the video should be cited. Check out the CCBC Library Guide or go to The Purdue Online Writing Lab for help.
6. Submission. When you submit your assignment your work will be checked by Urkund for plagiarism.
