FEEDBACK BELOW:
1) be sure that you don't spend too much time summarizing. You want to make sure that you are analyising. Remember that I've read the story. Your job is to support your thesis statement.
2) You haven't included ANY citations in your text. You must cite any information (quoted or paraphrased) that you pulled from a source. If you fail to do so, you will receive a failing grade on your paper. You are also required to have three sources. I only see one. Be sure that you review the requirements. 🙂
Requirements:
Paper will be 4-6 pages long and follow
all MLA guidelines.
It should be typed in 12pt Times New
Roman font and double-spaced with the
appropriate headings. - no title page
Students will need a minimum of 3
outside sources (not including the text
it's the fourth source) with limitations set
as follows:
Other student essays found on the
Internet will not be considered
acceptable sources.
There is no limit on the number of books
used.
The course text will count as a source.
**hint: AVL sources will build your
citations for you... Work smarter, not
harder.
No bound encyclopedia
No more than two Internet sources
Sources from www.avl.lib.al.us will be
considered book sources, and you can
use as many of these as you would like!
Parenthetical documentation and a
works cited page are required and
should be done in MLA format. Failure to
do so will result in an automatic F - no
kidding and no arguing.
