Experience: Choose a specific brand and product/service that a firm has adapted to suit the needs of at least two different
target audiences by treating them differently. Get some background information on the strategy and cite at least two
sources (site in proper APA style).
Analysis: Discuss each of the 5 criteria for evaluating segment attractivness (identifiable, reachable, etc.) for each of the
target audiences. Discuss why each of your two target audiences was a smart business choice for the firm using the 5 criteria
Discuss how the firm adapted the a) product/service functionality, b) packaging or "cosmetic" disign features, c) distribution channels, d) marketing commmunications (content & channels), and e) branding/positioning to meet the targets needs. How
succesful do you think it was? Do you have any recommendations for improvement or further expansion?
