Each student is responsible for writing a research paper demonstrating the student’s ability to write in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct manner. You may write on any Earth Science topic you choose, but must supply your instructor with your topic choice via Email or Text (Remind) prior to submitting your paper to be sure it meets the topic criteria. The paper must be: - APA Formatted: Times New Roman font size 12; double spaced; 1 inch margins; etc. (please refer to the Purdue OWL website for assistance: https://owl.purdue.edu/) - 6 to 10 pages in length, not including your cover page and the reference page - Minimum of 10 non-web-based references of which one may be your textbook I encourage you to write a rough draft of your paper, and turn it in for comments and corrections, before you submit your final version. Please see the attached images for grading rubric and aim for the excellent section.
