Digitalisation is one of the most revolutionary developments in business and society, and with the
onslaught of the pandemic, organisational working has transformed significantly. Consequently, many
organisations are on course for the digital transformation of business activities, processes,
competencies, and models to fully leverage the changes and opportunities brought by digital
technology to brace up for the next normal. One of the most significant challenges for
organisations/industries during digital transformation is their human resources. While digital

skills and abilities (KSAs), that is, digital talent, but many employees lack these KSAs or digital talent.
