Click HERE to review the current Ivy Tech Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities. Scroll down to pay special attention to section II, "Student Responsibilities." Choose one of the issues from Section II of the Code to research in greater depth, using appropriate, credible websites and/or database sources from the Ivy Tech Library. For example, you could focus on plagiarism, on misuse of computers, on verbal abuse, on minors on campus, or on any other issue detailed in this section of the Code. Explain why this issue is an ethical issue, what the reasoning for the policy might be, any dilemmas or problems that are raised by this policy, and how, based on your research, the issue is best addressed or solved from either the student perspective or the college perspective. Use at least three reputable, credible, and current sources (either reputable websites or sources found through the Ivy Tech Library subscription databases, such as ProQuest or EBSCOHost), in addition to the Student Code of Rights and Responsibilities (total of four sources). Your paper should be at least 3 pages long, double-spaced (not including the Works Cited or References page). Use either MLA or APA document and citation style, as specified by your instructor.
