American Education raises lots of different issues, and I imagine that some of them are more interesting to you than others. The author expresses his point of view too, and I imagine that you might agree with some of his ideas and question others. What would you like to discuss? Choose two issues or questions raised by the text that were significant to you and post a separate comment about each of them or respond to a classmate who may have raised the issue already. Include a citation to a page or chapter and identify the issue in your subject line i.e. "Charter Schools" or "Cyber bullying." Feel free to express your opinion and agree or disagree with Joel Spring's positions, especially if you can support it with facts and logic. Please respond to two or three of your classmates' postings and share what you think about the issue so we can have some general conversation about the reading in this space. You will be graded on your overall participation in this discussion rather than on each posting separately.
